A quality education helps us build a strong foundation for our career. I, indeed, want to transfer to ABC University because it has been consistently ranked high by several organizations and publications. This affirms the fact ABC University provides a world-class education to its students and equip them with the knowledge and skills most desired by local and global employers. I am also not oblivious to the fact the students at ABC University also benefit from the tremendous learning opportunities outside the classrooms. These learning opportunities include participation in campus co-curricular activities and interaction with fellow students from diverse economic, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds. As someone who is studying International Business, interaction with fellow students from diverse background holds even greater appeal to me. ABC University has a highly diversified student body that could help me not only advance my cross-cultural knowledge but also improve my fluency in one or more of the five languages I can speak. Multi-lingual skills offer one tremendous advantage in international markets or when dealing with international business partners because a language is a window into a culture.
I am also applying to ABC University to gain access to its vast professional network that will afford me the opportunities to network with leaders and insiders from various industries as well as access work opportunities at both local and international companies. I believe the location of the university also matters a lot because students do not attend a university to secure a career but also learn more about the world. ABC University is located in one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the U.S. and I am excited at the prospects of enjoying a vibrant arts and cultural scene.

I hope to get an education at ABC University that will provide me with significant edge in the job market. I am confident because the instructors at the ABC University strike a delicate balance between theoretical approach and real world approach to instruction. I also hope to significantly advance my global perspectives by the time I graduate. This is, particularly, important to me because I want to pursue a career with a multi-national company and preferably take international assignments all over the world. My language and cross-cultural skills would make me a natural candidate for international assignments and my career would hopefully take me to the highest echelons of a multinational corporation.

I realize soft skills are as important as technical knowledge, and I hope my time at ABC University will help me further improve my soft skills such as communication, teamwork, time management, and organizational skills. As I have previously implied, tremendous out-of-the-class learning opportunities are also a major reason I am applying to the ABC University because these experiences help us develop soft skills that are highly desired by the employers.

I believe we are important citizens of the society and should use our resources and talent not only to improve our lives but also improve the world. I hope my interactions with people from diverse background will provide me with a better understanding of the economic, social, political, and cultural issues in America as well as the rest of the world. It is one of my life goals to eventually engage in philanthropy and support the causes that are close to my heart such as the education, equal opportunities for everyone irrespective of their social, economic, and cultural backgrounds, and a cleaner environment for the future generations.

I have no doubt my years at the ABC University will be highly rewarding in terms of formal and informal learning experiences. I hope I graduate from the ABC University as not merely a highly qualified person but also a better citizen of the society.
