As someone who is intent on pursuing success and excellence from early on, I am well aware of the importance of being determined, diligent, and devoted to regular and rigorous work. In order to continue fostering such an educational mindset, I am deeply passionate about the prospect of studying at Hunter College, as I am confident that it will provide me with a quality foundation that will later serve me throughout my further educational endeavors. Undertaking the challenging curriculum that is maintained by your college will not only ensure that I receive the best education, but that I will get a head start when it comes to developing my career.My main orientation career-wise is pursuing a degree in medicine. I am somewhat hopeful to follow in the footsteps of my father, who is currently an oncologist that specializes in lymphoma. I’ve been fortunate enough to witness first-hand the sacrifice that goes into this vocation, but also the immense positive results that it brings for people around us, which is in itself a priceless achievement.
Given some of the general ideas that are studied in the Advanced Biology course, I will certainly be on the right track given my long-term educational interests. I am also intrigued by the prospect and offer of the lab component of this class, which will be a great way for me to get practical experience that would otherwise be additional years away. The field investigations are also of particular interest to me, as I am always eager for versatile experiences that will sharpen my skill and deepen my existing knowledge.
Strong foundations are essential to building things are successful and long-lasting. This especially applies to our educations and careers, which is why I am oriented towards acquiring the very best foundation that is currently offered to me. My ultimate goal to help others can only be achieved if I am given the proper foundational platform from which I can then flourish on as a professional.
