My main motive for applying is that I have always been interested in banking and finance. I believe that I will be able to have a lifelong fruitful career in this field, and I would be extremely proud to be part of the Goldman Sachs team.
I am currently on my second year studying finance with business placement at Durham University. Prior to that, my 4 A-Levels comprise: German, Mathematics, Economics and Russian. I also have 10 IGCSE passes including English Grade A and Mathematics Grade A. I have also attained B2 level in the German language.
In my application, I have applied to work in three different cities: Zurich, Frankfurt and London. This is because even though I am based in London, I am international, and would be very greatful for the opportunity to work in any of these regions. I am fluent in three languages: Russian, Azerbijani, and English: and have working proficiency in Turkish and German. If I was given a position in Germany, I know that it would only take me a short time to achieve fluency, moreover, I would dedicate my free time to this end, prior to going.
I am up to date on the latest cutting-edge news from the banking and finance world, and regularly look at the leading news websites. My work experience in the Serious Crimes Court in Baku has made me look at relevant matters with a legal perspective, and so this will be very helpful in th field of banking and finance. I have also successfully participated in the projects implemented by Azerbaijan Young Lawyers Union.
I have been brought up with a very strong work ethic, and am dedicated to my work. In my spare time I play the violin, and have achieved a number of prestigious awards.
