As someone who worked hard to succeed and do what I want to do in my life, I am motivated to keep working toward my goals. I am proud of my determination. With my future career goals centered on the hotel or restaurant industry, I am on a mission to help others and make people happy. In the hospitality field, you are always making sure that your client has everything they need. You are always letting them know that you are there to fulfill any business needs that they may have.
As a millennial, I often have older people judging me. In some ways I agree with their opinions, but in other ways I disagree with them. However, judging too harshly is wrong, as everyone is different. Some millennials have both new and old aspects of personality. As a millennial, one advantage is that we know more about technology than someone who is not a millennial. We are able to work and play hard. In terms of my future career, I value networking and how to work with others. Confidence in one’s work and having the qualifications to be a good leader is also something that I possess. When one is constantly working with others, one needs to be a people person. One cannot be afraid to approach someone and see if there is anything that they may need or have a concern they want to express.
Lastly, it is important in any career to be skilled in networking, have an outgoing personality, and be willing to work hard. As a millennial, it is nice to possess knowledge with electronics, but I also need to remember to be respectful to other individuals, including clients and subordinates. I have learned some important lessons in life. Never take anything for granted. Work hard and go the extra mile because it shows commitment and a strong work ethic, not because you need someone to pat you on the head and say “good job.” Always do your best and give 100 percent to your job. It shows responsibility, perseverance, and good character, traits that you can be proud of at the end of the day.
