During my three year stay in Penn State University, I took five mathematic, two physics and two chemistry courses so that I could be able to enroll in Industrial Engineering. However, I did not attain the required 3.0 GPA at the end of my second year and hence I did not enroll in Industrial Engineering. Due to that, I changed my major to Energy Engineering. However, my mathematics skills and statistical analysis have all through been quite well, and therefore I terminate the Energy Engineering courses and decided to apply for a different course at the University of Miami. As a student at Penn State University, I won an engineering design award for building a practical fruits and vegetables dryer tray for African people in Kenya. Over the years, I was also able to realize that I had the capability to comprehend and analyze mathematics with less difficulty. Moreover, I realized that my visual understanding had not only been good, but also improved over the years that I stayed at the university. Most importantly, I have never forgotten the formula that I learned in my first class. Moreover, I am now confident, relaxed and able to stand and present in front of other student, unlike during my time as a freshman when I was quite shy due to my accent.
As a student at Penn State University, I gained more than I initially anticipated. The serene climate of the university played a pivotal role in enabling me to constantly work hard in an attempt to explore the limits of nature and succeed in future. In addition to education, Penn State University thought me to strive to work and associate with a diverse group of people who the university wholeheartedly accommodates, and who we had a common interest of succeeding in our lives. Particularly, the seamless interaction between students of diverse backgrounds, and the industrial engineering laboratory facilities created a real learning environment that is quite similar to the real world, which enabled my intellectual keenness to absorb a variety of knowledge during my stay at the college. Additionally, I gained firm disciplinary and not absconding classes during the compelling weather conditions in winter. Each and every single year, I take decisions whose actions are in line with my desires to achieve success in future, and I believe that, transferring to University of Miami is one of those decisions.
