The invention of airplane has had significant impact and has revolutionized this world that we live in differently. First it has raised military conflicts. Next, its invention has facilitated trade and commerce across the globe. It initiation established the second industrial evolution across the world not only in Europe and America. Finally, the airplane invention has facilitated global multi-culturalism as people across the world are now able to travel to any part of the world with a lot of ease and within a fleeting time.
Regarding the military conflict, the invention of airplane between 1910 and 1959 modified the warfare significantly and absolutely (Gohardani et.al, 369-391). For instance, in the modern society, state cannot successfully dispatch its military into war without taking air cover. With the evolvement of cruise missile, the use strategic bombing in the current society has reduced significantly (Gohardani et.al, 369-391). The advancement in technology has facilitated the development of UAVs airplanes, mostly remote controlled. The initiation of these airplanes has had considerable evolvement warfare mission and conflict settlement.

From trade and commercial point of view, the initiation of airplanes has completely transformed movement. For example, its development eliminated the Ocean Liners. Ocean Liners were ships created and designed to transport passengers from one port to a different destination in contrast with cruise ships that are used for leisure and adventures as they are used to transport people from a port and then back to the same port (Gohardani et.al, 369-391). The use of airplanes has enabled people to travel to various parts of the world within a very abbreviated time as compared to the months by use of ships. The emergence of airplanes opened non-existing markets for perishable products such as flowers and vegetables.

The local society reap huge benefits from airplanes. From travelling to different destinations in the world with a great convenience, the local community also take advantage of the emergence of helicopter ambulance (Gohardani et.al, 369-391). Additionally, the local community also take advantage of corporate aircraft that transfer executives to different destination faster and efficiently to carry out the day to day work such as manage business, patrol pipeline or even recreational flying.

The inventors of the first airplane were Orville and Wilbur Wright. In the year 1903, the Wright brothers initiated and tested the first flying vehicle that was propelled by its own power, soared on its own at a considerable speed and landed without harm (Bellis Mary N.p.). Interestingly, before the successful flight, airplane inventors had made many attempts to fly like birds do. To fly, these inventors used kites, hot air balloons, airships and gliders among other kinds of aircraft. However, with the successful trail by Wright brothers, everything changed. The first airplane raised to an altitude of 10 feet, moved 120 feet and landed 12 seconds later without damage (Bellis Mary N.p.). This was followed by longer flights, a scenario that marked the start and development of new real plane in the world.

With the evolvement of technology and after Wright Brothers invention, airplane development has evolved significantly. For instance, their invention facilitated the creation and development of military jets and commercial airplanes (Bellis Mary N.p.). The United Kingdom, Frank Whittle and Germany, Hans von Ohain are linked with the initiation and development of jet engine during 1930s.

The reason why I chose airplane invention as my topic to focus on is the fact that without airplane, the current world wouldn’t be the way it is today. It has enabled people and cargo to move to different parts of the world within a short period. Additionally, with the easy movement of diverse people and enhanced interaction, today people understand and acknowledge the diverse cultures across the world and more so enhanced trade. The invention of the airplane has revolutionized the world and continue to evolve with the advancement of technology with the creation of vehicle to the space flight.
