I am highly interested in Pharmaceutical Quality/Assurance Quality control program offered at Seneca College because I believe in my potential when it comes to a career in pharmaceutics. I have always been interested in medicine. As seen from the list of my accomplishments, medicine was something significant for me since high school. Moreover, I have always been enthralled with its pharmaceutical aspect. It is one thing for a surgeon to heal the patient with one’s own hand. It is completely another matter when a pill has a major effect on the organism and manages to reinforce the human being’s health in a relatively short amount of time. Since quite a long time, I have decided to devote my life to the chemical aspect of all things medicine.
I am interested in this particular aforementioned program for several important reasons. First of all, the program promises to offer all necessary fundamentals required in both regulatory affairs and quality operations. Moreover, the second semester is bound to go into detail throughout various areas that pertain the subject. Needless to say, I am more than qualified for the program since I do have a recognized degree from an accredited institution in science. Throughout my tenure at the university, I have studied chemistry and biology in-depth. Another reason for my desire to apply for this particular program at Seneca College is word of mouth. I have only heard good reviews meaning that the staff is very much competent and ensures that the students have all necessary knowledge upon the completion of the course. Moreover, there is a considerable amount of practice involved, which is, naturally, a necessary prerequisite for any knowledge of theoretical nature.
While I have always been fascinated with the way pharmaceutical means work, I have to admit that I have always been interested in the aspect of the meds’ quality. It is no secret that large corporations and firm hold all the people in a stranglehold with one simply aim to raise as much profit as possible. Doctors are coerced into propagating certain brands for financial rewards rather than based on the merits of the particular given medicine. I find such an imposed state of affairs on the world and unacceptable, and I will not rest at ease before I have done everything in my powers and beyond to ensure that only the best quality medications are left on the market. I am no romantic, and I realize that such a life goal main turn into Sisyphus’ labour. I am still willing to do my humble contribution to the matter.
I am a hard worker, who has clearly defined goals and aspirations. In order to fulfil my vision of checking various types of medicine, I have to possess immaculate knowledge in the sphere of pharmaceutics so as to do my job impeccably. I have a very good track record of various achievements not to mention the cum laude studies at the university. Many people would stop after an MA degree, but I constantly believe that there is no limit to self-perfection.
There is no better way to finish my letter than with the description of the event that turned my attention to pharmaceuticals in the first place. I remember that I got very much sick with flu to the point that my parents became immensely worried. I vividly remember them giving me some shiny pills, but there was no noticeable effects whatsoever. My state was still pretty much miserable. After five days of vane attempts to heal me, my parents were forced to visit the pharmacy again. A different pharmacist advised the medication which was cheaper and, according to him more effective. I was fine after two days. As you can see, I have become the victim of bad medication and, to add insult to injury, remarkably expensive as well. I will not medication lacking in quality hinder my life and the lives of other people anymore. With me you will get a hard-working person who has passion in the discipline.
