Since I was young, I have always admired individuals who manage large and successful organizations. However, besides not realizing the challenges that accompany such leadership roles, I did not understand the processes of attaining such abilities. When I was in high school, I decided that I would become a successful manager after completing my studies. Nonetheless, I did not have sufficient knowledge to measure the achievability of these aspirations and expectations. After completing my high school education, I realized that my desire for success depended on the knowledge I acquired in my MBA. Likewise, individuals measure the success in diverse methods and on different stages. Nonetheless, it is important to identify the personal meaning of success before measuring the probabilities of its achievement.
The most common measurement of an MBA experience is observing income earnings. I believe that measuring my financial success and income will be an accurate indicator of the Master of Business Administration degree that I acquired. Immediately after graduation, I want to join a consulting firm post. In fact, I would like to work with Mu Sigma, my current employer. I prefer the consulting enterprise because it will present me with an opportunity to exercise the knowledge I acquire from MBA. The MBA degree is supposed to equip me with the necessary skills to tackle any type of management issues in the business sector. Also, the degree is supposed to empower me to become a competitive individual in the international market. For these reasons, I will analyze my MBA experience regarding employment status in the consulting business field and efficiency in tackling organizational challenges.
Knowing what an individual expects from an organization, before employment, provides a foundation for gauging progress and measuring success. I believe that besides enjoying what an individual does, success includes creating values for other people. By working with the Mu Sigma consulting agency, I will obtain the additional exposure that is crucial in business management. Since consulting is my current profession, I have noticed that the sector is diverse and involves interaction with varied companies, individuals, and leaders. Ten years from now, I will measure my experience in MBA by analyzing the value I have created with my customer. This value will involve the extent of network I would have created with my clients in the consulting sector.
Likewise, satisfaction in a career is an indication of success. For this reason, I will examine my MBA experience through my achievements in the consulting company. Since the consulting sector involves customer interactions, the relationship I establish with organizations, clients, and peers will be a crucial tool for measuring my experience. After five years in Mu Sigma consulting company, I desire to progress in ranks within the firm or start an Analytics Company of my own. Through the knowledge I will have acquired from my MBA study, I will be able to identify and interact with individuals whom we share similar characteristics. Consequently, measuring my MBA experience through my level of success against competing terms will be paramount. Moreover, since my long-term goal is to expand my consulting company to a global level, I will measure my MBA experience through the probability of achieving this objective. Through the MBA experience, I expect to acquire the skills for business expansion. Besides, Due to the nature of the consulting business, I believe that succeeding to expand my business will depend on the MBA experiences. Particularly, I will measure my degree experience by my success in expanding the consulting business across international borders.
