From the research study that I conducted, I ran into two interviewees; Brenda Pierre and Felicia Kima. Felicia Kima is a registered nurse who works at the Lakes Care Center. Her telephone contact is 404 825 1123. She studied and qualified as a licensed practical nurse from Platt College, Moore Oklahoma between 2011 and 2012. She also studied in Platt College, West Memorial Road, Oklahoma from 2012 to 2013 and qualified as a registered nurse. She has also worked in different fields as a registered nurse and as a licensed practical nurse.
As a licensed nurse, she worked as a Change Nurse in the long-term care between 2013 and 2014. As a Registered Nurse, she also worked as a Change Nurse in the long-term care. In addition to that, she has been working as a Registered Nurse in the Memory Care Unit from 2015 to date. According to Felicia Kima, professionalism is incorporated in the role of nurses. According to her, to practice as a nurse, it is imperative to be professional in the discharge of one’s duties. In addition to that, standards of practice must be adhered to.
For people beginning their nursing profession, they have to exercise their duties within the scope of practice. One should focus on service delivery services in the best of their ability rather than the monetary aspect even though it matters and it is important. Also, Felicia Kima believes that a nursing profession beginner should respect all residents even if they are difficult to care for and handle. The information that I received from Felicia Kima made me understand the needs and wants of a variety of patients. It made me understand that I am responsible for what is in my scope of profession. It is also worth for new nursing beginners to understand that the core professional activity of the registered nurses is to utilize their knowledge and expertise to assess the health needs of their patients and determine the most amicable healthcare solution that will assist them in restoring their health. In fact, registered nurses can also go ahead and make follow ups on their patients to ascertain whether they are improving or not. In retrospect to that, registered nurses can also operate either dependently or as a group in undertaking their various nursing activities and delegation of duties to the newly enrolled nurses.

Also, she worked as an MDS coordinator as a Registered Nurse. She also worked as a Registered Nurse ADON DN DON. She has been a nurse for 11 years.
According to her, nursing profession incorporate trust and understanding so that you can allow residents and patients to believe you. In retrospect to that, Brenda Pierre also believes that those beginning the nursing profession should always be ready to learn different ways of doing things. Also, Brenda Pierre believes that a nursing profession beginner should respect all residents even if they are difficult to care for and handle.
