Admission requirements involve a baccalaureate nursing degree from a university that is recognized within the region and nationally for accredited nursing programs. A grade point average (GPA) minimum of 3.0 from the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) is required and an RN license. Three professional letters of reference and official transcripts from all colleges attended are required. A CSU graduate admission application with fifty dollars nonrefundable fee should also be submitted. An updated immunization certificate is also required. These requirements should be sent to the admissions office before Fifteenth October for the spring semester and before Fifteenth February for Fall Semester (Columbus State University, 2017).
GRE tests are set for fourth November which should be undertaken to qualify for the fall semester in Columbus State University (Educational Testing Service, 2017). Possible scholarships are the AL and Bettye Caproni Memorial, the Astrid Hiie Baker and the Deanna Robinson Memorial Nursing scholarships.
