Pollution of slaughter houses has often become a great controversy especially with the coming of the new hygienic conditions. Most of the pollution that affect the slaughter houses come from the fecal matter which is often left in the air making the environment unfit and making the air filthy and unfit for consumption by a human. Besides the fecal matter, the slaughter houses are cleaned using chemicals which are used to kill bacteria and germs that might contaminate the meat. Some of this chemicals are often washed away with water towards the other fresh water point which in turn end up contaminating fresh water that could be used by other animals for consumption.
The result is that the innocent animals end up dying because of the carelessness which could have been avoided easily. As a results, the government encourages farmers and slaughter house attendants to embrace better ways of waste management. The government insists that there are certain pathogens which have the ability to survive extreme conditions such as composting and some other waste treatment methods. To effectively dispose of slaughter house wastes, the slaughter attendants are encouraged to try other waste treatment methods which will ensure that the bacteria and the pathogens can be contained and eliminated from the animal carcasses. This can be done in three stages, composting, AH and AD. Through this methods, the pathogens are not exposed to the humans, and hence they do not pose a viable threat to human health.
The industrial revolution is concerned with the period during which there was rapid growth in industries which started during the 18th century and was mostly associated with the spontaneous growth of textile industries among other industries. Most of the courts treated pollution caused by emission of gases from gas companies much differently form the manufacturing factories. This could be attributed to the manner in which the gas companies converted to coal, and other substances into awful smells which caused discomfort among the people especially those people running businesses in the neighborhood. In fact, the judges often included households as potential people with whom get affected directly by the smoke and the pollution caused by the industry. The law, therefore, accounts for the damaged suits. This is what brought the actual difference between the gas companies and the manufacturing companies. Whereas the courts were willing to treat the gaslight companies as a primary nuisance, with a main aim of granting damages to the people, the public never took the next probable step to file a case against the companies to compel them into abating their pollution or to compel them to relocate their companies. During industrial revolution, the major indifference came in between the sources of fuel that the companies were using to run their equipment. The revolution from using coal to using more sophisticated sources of energies such as diesel or other petroleum products increased the chances of pollution to the environment. Although the usage of coal affected the environment and led to pollution through the gasses emitted by the companies as byproducts, industrial revolution invented more dangerous methods of energy production. Though it was effective, the rate of pollution caused by the new methods of energy production increased significantly.
Taking a quick glance backwards, there has been a significance revolution with an increase in technology which has completely transformed the production sector in most companies. Therefore the pollution problems have been transformed to minor smoke and lesser harmful waste to the environment. In most companies, the final waste products that are emitted out of the company premises is put to contain chemicals that are less harmful to the environment. To make it even better, some of the wastes are recycled into more useful products.
