One of my father’s attributes that irritate one most is his smoking behavior. My father has established himself as a chain smoker who can stand the whole day smoking. Smoking is very detrimental to his health, the health of the family and the environment. There are various chronic health conditions that are associated with smoking cigarette. Most of these are likely to cause death if the habit is not controlled. Smoking of cigarettes is associated with health conditions like cancer. My father is addicted to his smartphone. He is always very close it while engaging in numerous activities. I would like him to stop sticking to his smart phone for the good of the family. The phone makes him sit for the whole day and thus engaging in less physical activity which is very dangerous for his health. The smartphone engages most of his time in the day and part of the night thus he does not have sufficient time for the issues of the family. In order to increase the level of collaboration and integration within the family, it is important for him to dictate his time to the issues of the family as this will make his presence within the family important.

My father’s eating habits are very disgusting. His eating habits are affecting his health and the health of the family at large. My father likes taking fast foods continuously all day. These foodstuffs have high levels of cholesterol and calories. These foodstuffs are also exposing to a lot of dangers because he is adding a lot of weight. If he does not stop his eating habits, he will be subjected to obesity. Obesity is very detrimental to health. Becoming overweight may make him develop conditions like heart attacks, blood pressure and diabetes. These medical conditions can take the finances of the family and may lead to death.

In conclusion, my father is a very important member of the family. He is the head of the family and the biggest role model. His achievements and engagements are perceived to the general activities of the whole family. Consequently, improving his quality of life is very crucial towards improving the quality of our family’s life. The most practical and realistic way of having him improve the quality of his life is by influencing him to stop smoking, keep some distance from his smartphone and improve his eating habits.
